Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
This statement is made in accordance with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the Act) for the financial year ended 31st of March 2023. This is the statement of the provisions taken by Prestige to comply with the Act.
Prestige Sales & Lettings believe that the business sector it operates within is not an industry with a high risk of modern day slavery or human trafficking. However we have taken reasonable steps to ensure that slavery or human trafficking is not taking place in its business, with the contractors it uses, local authorities or utility suppliers.
Our Business
Prestige Sales & Lettings and Elite property provides residential sales and lettings and a range of consumer services including gas safety certificates and both commercial and residential repairs in the UK. Through registered contractors we offer EPC provision and electrical repairs.
Our Policies
As part of our commitment to mitigate risk of modern slavery and human trafficking, we will continue to carry out appropriate due diligence and liaising regularly with our contractors.
Employees and contractors are aware of this act and are committed to reporting any breaches of this act.
Where contractors are required to issue their own statements in accordance with the Act, we will monitor the content of the statement published.
